Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Actv8 Consulting Limited ("Actv8", "we", "us", "our") handles personal information submitted through the enquiry form on actv8.co.uk. We keep our data handling deliberately narrow: the form exists solely so that visitors can get in touch, and the information provided is used only to respond to that enquiry.
Who we are
Actv8 Consulting Limited is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or how your information is used, please contact us at andy@actv8.co.uk.
What information we collect
We only collect information you choose to provide via the enquiry form on this website:
- Your name
- Your company (optional)
- Your email address
- The message you send us
We do not run advertising trackers, sell data, or attempt to build a profile on visitors beyond what is needed to reply to an enquiry.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
We use the information for one purpose only: to read and reply to your enquiry, and to have any follow-up correspondence that naturally arises from it. Under UK GDPR, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where a business relationship develops, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
How your enquiry is handled
When you submit the form, your details are sent by email to andy@actv8.co.uk and stored in our email inbox alongside any reply we send. We may reply directly from that inbox using the email address you provided.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and do not share it with third parties for marketing. Your enquiry is only handled by a small number of trusted service providers that operate the underlying infrastructure for the website and email:
- Our website and form-delivery platform, which processes the submission and delivers it to our inbox.
- Our email provider, which we use to receive and reply to enquiries.
These providers process the information on our behalf under standard contractual terms and do not use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails only for as long as they are useful for the conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for legitimate record-keeping (typically no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us). You can ask us to delete your correspondence sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to object to our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email andy@actv8.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not set marketing or analytics cookies. Any cookies that may be present are strictly necessary for the site to function.
Website measurement
To understand how the site is used and to improve it, we record anonymous interaction data: pages viewed, how far down a page visitors scroll, which buttons and links are clicked and where on the page, screen size, and the website or campaign a visit came from.
This measurement is cookieless. A random, temporary identifier is held only for the duration of your browsing session and is discarded when you close the tab. We do not store names, email addresses, IP addresses or any other information that identifies you, and we do not record your screen, keystrokes or the content you type. The data cannot be linked back to an individual.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates when it was last revised.
